Allcomm is a family based business. Many people know, a family business either works, or it doesn’t, in our case, it works, and our clients is a testimony there of.
Allcomm operates from Bellville, Cape Town, and we service country wide via our network of Partners, Joint Ventures and Resellers.
A bit about our Cape Town Team:
Adri started her career with Siemens Ltd in 1983. Marketing the Siemens range of PABX to small and medium market. Incorporated in the product basket was the Siemens Fax machines, car phones and PABX Systems.
Then relocated to the Garden Route in 1990 where she started her own company with the technical assistance of Doug Webber. She took care of the marketing, customer support, training and Financial aspects of the business. She secured many dealerships for related products for the Garden Route area.
In 1993 she was awarded the dealership of the year award for Chercor (Pty) Ltd. In 1997 she joined the “millionaires in the making” team with Hymax South Africa.
Allcomm Solutions branched out to Cape Town in February 2008 to stay in touch with technology. She secured more associations with major role players to ensure quality products with businesses with the same level of integrity and expertise.
Adri heads up sales, audits, financial and public relations of Allcomm Group of Companies.
Doug did his training with the Department of Post & Telecommunications, now known as Telkom SA in 1979 - 1981. He joined TR Services doing the installations on their Time & Attendance units. He then joined Siemens Ltd as a production supervisor and was promoted to production Foreman in the electronics department.
He then relocated to the Garden Route and started Garden Route Telecoms with Adri Webber. Doug took care of the installations, technical support and minor PCB repairs. Doug attends the site meetings to prepare the installation material required for the installations team.
Allcomm Solutions branched out to Cape Town in February 2008. He manages the technical division, and attends to the specialized technical faults. He also does a certain amount of installations, thus staying in touch with the clients and the market requirements.
Eileen van Zyl:
Eileen van Zyl is our accounts lady, she matriculated in George at PW Botha College, whilst still at school Eileen had several weekend jobs, and the year after matriculation she explored different retail stores, Always helping on the accounting and admin side.
Eileen was offered the opportunity to study through an accounting firm in George, which she took up the offer and started her accounting career. She stayed by the accounting firm for a year and then decided to join in on the family venture. Still busy with her studies, Eileen ensures that the books and admin are kept up to date and that the financial situation remains stable.
Any account queries whatsoever gets directed to Eileen, and she will ensure that it gets resolved within the shortest time span possible.
Although Eileen manages the financial side, she also manages the support calls hand in hand with Doug, ensuring that all queries or faults that have come in gets the immediate attention required at all times.
Douglas Webber, an Entrepreneur by heart, has been running his own businesses since primary school.
He completed his Matric at PW Botha College in George.
Douglas started his after school working career managing a family business restaurant in George, first as junior manager, and eventually became General Manager of the business within his first year.
Succeeding that venture, he left and went to work for First National Bank in the Bancassurance division specialising in Banking and Insurance products, where he passed his 30 credits examination at Damelin.
Upon closure of that division, Douglas left and started his own Take Away Coffee Shop in George, which he later closed to relocate to Cape Town.
In Cape Town Douglas worked for Sequiam Biometrics in their sales division, not one month missing target.
When Sequiam Biometrics pulled out of South Africa, Douglas left and started Allcomm Solutions with Adri and Doug.
In his almost 3 years as co-owner of Allcomm, he has seen grown with the business and technology our industries have seen. He specialises in Sales in Allcomm, and constant research of new technologies, ensuring that Allcomm stays ahead of what the market has to offer.
Douglas also qualified as part of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program for the Allcomm Business Plan, and has spent 6 weeks with business mentors in America, he also graduated from Sierra Nevada College with an Entrepreneurship Degree in his time there.
Douglas has been prepared and geared for the future of Allcomm, and will be the leading force in continuously merging the various industries Allcomm covers into one secure, efficient business model.
Sherwyn Williams is our clients favourite. Everywhere Sherwyn goes, leaves a client much in smiles, not only for a vibrant, energetic and friendly personality, but for his skills in ensuring clients are satisfied in their requirements.
Sherwyn, since completed his Matric at PW Botha College in George, and soon realised his love for Software and technology.
Sherwyn has since completed his training on the NEC XN 120 and the ComX1 and is certified to install both those systems.
Sherwyn has also been accredited by Allcomm to install all other Pabx systems Allcomm markets and maintains.
Sherwyn also completed his training at Utax as a front line technician to all our Office Automation products.
Sherwyn has completed his training on our Biometric Hardware and Software and is therefore certified to install all the Biometric Hardware and certain software packages marketed by Allcomm.
Sherwyn is a welcomed addition to Allcomm, and has proven his worth.
